My Toning Journey Starts.... TODAY!

Today is the day! I am going to start working on my fitness in a whole new way. I have been going up and down with these last few pounds. I range from 8lbs to 3lbs from goal and now I'm ready to really kick it up and be done with this. I am going to start doing the ab exercises from this Pilates video that I got from my mom. There are 3 ab sessions, the 1st is for beginners and the 2nd intermediate, which leaves the 3rd for experts. I'm going to do the 1st one for a week or two and then move up. Hopefully I will be doing the 3rd session by November. I'm going to be doing the ab exercises along with some arm work to blast these bat wings lol. I am going for a very toned look to really maximize the benefits of my weight loss. I plan on ringing in the new year being at my goal weight or below and with a flat tummy and toned arms! I'm going to still be doing my cardio like jump rope and such. I want to do a few classes like kickboxing and belly dancing. I will keep you guys posted.

Oh! I finally learned how to hula hoop!! So stoked about that, I will definitely be implementing that in my journey.

Weight Loss Tips- SImple and Easy

Here are the tips:
**No late night eating, or eat at least 3 hours before you go to bed. Anytime I give in and eat late, I stay up for another 3 hours
**Drink only, or mainly, water. I shoot for 2 Smart Water bottles (which equals 2 liters)
**Dilute sodas and juices with water, if you drink sodas and juices.
**Drink water after you eat fattening food.
**Drink very cold water
**Exercise. Shoot for doing a little something everyday, but if you can, try to do around 1hr of cardio
**Exercise in the morning before you eat, if you can. If you cannot, at least workout 3 hrs after eating
**I have no strength training tips at the moment. I barely do that, which is bad..
**Believe in yourself
**Set attainable goals
**Be patient
**Limited portions, smaller portions
**Restrict yourself from having some of your favorite foods, you can try a few days or a week or more. I think this really helps prove that you do have will power.
**Weekly weighing. I weigh on Mondays
**Hide the scale! I store mine in my bathroom drawer
**Choose a scale that has a 0.0 reading, so you can tell if you've lost less than a pound
**Be comfortable with your body because that gives you confidence, and confidence looks good!
**No, or very little, fast food. I do much more cooking and home cooked meals
**More fruits and veggies. I like to cut them up in little pieces and put them in containers for snacks.
**Have fruit when you want something sweet. I don't mean an apple lol, like strawberries or melon. Apples= yuck (to me)

Length Check FAIL

This is a TERRIBLE picture. I took it and then I started braiding up my hair and when I looked at the pic, I was so mad. I'm about an inch away from BSL and I need a trim, so I may end up being about 1.5-2inches away. I will keep you guys posted.

So my hair goal is now WL. I want to be WL by the end of 2012. I know I am going to have to work hard. I need a new conditioner and I definitely need to keep m hands out of my hair! I will keep you guys in the loop every step of the way. I will try to update my blog, but I do update my Youtube more often.

I made a pretty quick breakfast the other day. I had a pancake, eggs with cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon, and a bit of hash browns. It was delicious and I was full for a good while. For the pancakes, I used the "Batter Blaster" thing that I bought recently. The pro is that you dont have to make pancake batter, but the con is that the pancake doesnt seem to get thick enough for me. O well, win some, lose some.

So, whats been up?

Im not even going to say it, lol. Im not going to say that Im going to try and blog more often, bc every time I do say that, I ended up being made to look the liar. Im just gonna say that Im glad to be posting today! I am going to try and have a garage sale soon bc I am either too small (I've lost some weight) or just plain tired of a lot of my clothes. I took pictures of everything that I don't want and Im going to try to get rid of everthing on Craigslist. If that doesn't work, then I will just give it to Goodwill or something. Time to declutter! Spring Cleaning FTW!

I have a few updates for you guys, but I'm gonna try to spread it out in multiple posts so it looks like I'm doing something in this little blog, lol.
